Could the South West Coast Path really begin at Portishead? I walk the beautiful coastal trail to Clevedon via Black Nore Lighthouse, wild bays and wooded cliffs, finishing at one of England's finest piers.

The Brean Down Way is an eight-mile cycling and walking route linking Brean Down with Weston-super-Mare. I cycled the full route there and back, discovering the River Axe, Uphill, Brean Sands and one very steep climb onto Brean Down.
